Since I already post book-related quotes, I’ve decided to also start posting other generally inspirational quotes. I know this is a book blog but it’s not wrong to also showcase all the other sayings that inspire us. Here’s the first installment. Enjoy!

Author Love #2: Sarah J. Maas

The author of this week is Sarah J. Maas. This woman has inspired me so much, with her beautiful writing and amazing Throne of Glass Series (Review of Crown of Midnight coming up soon!). She is extremely talented at crafting absolutely wonderful and interesting stories. And I can definitely say, hand on heart, that she is my absolute favorite author and that The Throne of Glass series is my best-loved series of all time. Sarah J. Maas has accomplished so much at such a young age, first publishing her novel at the age of sixteen on FictionPress, it going on to be the most reviewed story on the website and then Sarah’s 10 year path to publication. She is such a huge inspiration, a very remarkable person. I absolutely can’t wait to read more from her.

Be sure to check Sarah J. Maas’ Blog/Website:

Book Exchange Booth

So I recently came across this very cool idea…The Book Exchange Booth. If you haven’t heard of it before, the concept is simple. The Book Exchange Booth is a renovated Phone Booth that is stocked with books people don’t need anymore, the way it works is that if you own a book that you don’t want anymore you can place it in The Book Exchange Booth and exchange it with a book, there, that you would like to read. This way many people can own and read physical books they want, for free, and get rid of books they don’t want, that someone else might like.

The reason I shared this idea, is even though it might not be compatible everywhere, it would work great in a neighborhood or a village etc… So if this is suitable in your area, you can choose to collaborate with your neighbors to create something like this, that could benefit you and many other people and spread reading.

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed this post! Comment down below about what you think. If you like my content make sure to check out my other posts and follow me.

Author Love #1

This world has many great authors. So I thought I’d start a series of articles about authors that affected my life, somehow and that I would post about one different author every week. The authors that I pick would have changed my life through their beautiful writing, gave me another home in their stories and made me love reading, which makes me ever so grateful. So kicking off ‘Author Love’ is…

 Veronica Roth

I remember receiving Divergent as a birthday present, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best presents ever. I was in a reading slump that Summer and I hadn’t read anything, I picked this book up after my birthday and I  plunged into this world, with characters I felt like I’ve known for my entire life. She is such an amazing author. Her fast paced writing style always keeps me on the edge of my seat. She has written a series that made me cry and unable to speak properly for days, after finishing. She has rekindled my love for books, after having spent time not reading, not only but she has made me aspire to be like her and  publish a novel at such a young age and have it turned into such a big success that has inspired many people worldwide. Veronica Roth you are a true role model.

Tune in next week for another ‘Author Love’ installment.
